Behind the camera’s eye at N.A.M.M. Winter 08.
I have been fortunate enough to of been one of the camera man for gearwire.com . It was a great experience. We partied like rock stars at night and worked the trade show floors during the day to get you the gearheads the most information about new instruments and software as well as websites. Dj Puzzle was the interviewer and did an outstanding job getting your questions answered. Some of the editing could of been better, but I had nothing to do with that. However there were times of shakyness from lack of sleep and to much zoom. Please check out the links for all videos from us below. I Made a new track tonight. I really needed to just make some music. It’s a free mp3 download as usual . The title is called ” Happy Endings ” from my upcoming cd ( if i put it on there and i finish the darn thing) DJ Montra - Explorations. It’s a little well…………. hmmm just listen to it. Let me know if you like it . It is Ambient downtempo.. What do you expect it’s me. track is made by using Apples Soundtrack Pro and Loops from an exclusive set called Electronic street that is not even out yet and wont be. so how’d you like that [’ _ ‘]

Well we are here at the winter 08 N.A.M.M show in sunny Anaheim, CA. I’m here for Gearwire.com shooting video of my good friend Jason Donnelly ( DJ Puzzle ) interviews with Beathive.com - Sony’s 10 year anniversary of Acid and Sound Forge - Stanton - m-audio - Access and many many more. I have a ton of pics from my iPhone and shared pics from Jason’s camera as well as exclusive video of the Access guys jamming on their new software called Atomizer with some of their new synths and some old synths.

This Mix is still one of my favorites that i ever made . It was the first mix I ever did and it’s pretty good. All downtempo ambient beats. A great mix to sit back and chill to, fall asleep or listen to while studying. To listen to the mix just click the title, “DJ Montra - Stafa By Opium” or to download it to right click and Save link as (if your on a Mac hold down the apple key and click for the save as option.)

I am fortunate enough to have a demo track included with the new release of Peace Love Productions Modern German Synths Apple loop library. The demo included in the MGS Library allows you to load the .loop project file into Apple’s Soundtrack Pro. This is just like loading an .acd project file in Sony’s Acid program but instead for Apple’s Soundtrack. You can view how I made the track as well as remix it, How cool is that! Make sure for all you music program lovers to pick up this latest loop library it’s available for 29.95 and in . aiff, .wav and .rx2

Dj Montra has a new mix out. It’s top 40 hip-hop pop Electro remixes. It was made for those lame places that DJ’s have to play once in a while and all they want to hear is what is already on the radio. Lame we all know it, but Here you go check it here

A good friend of mine uses Soundtrack pro to make their podcast this months podcast features an unreleased mixed track from Stop Die Resuscitate and remix by My Brightest Diamond’s ‘Golden Star’.
